Back Cover of the Book

Pauline and Trevor was born, raised and educated in Barbados. With similar attributes and interests they have been writing since childhood. Both have traveled the world at some extent and have accumulated a lifetime of experiences between them, which they desire to share, with the intention to inspire and empower others. These siblings are like spiritual twins, they share a genetic symmetry which has developed in unity with their maturity.

This book, Prose of Power, gives a glimpse of how change occurs over time – language changes, and changes in peoples’ life-styles in particular. The reader is therefore taken along a journey of growth and change.

Pauline had studied music, drama and the commercials industry when growing up, and became highly skilled with handicrafts and making music. Trevor’s forte is one who is specialized in languages, health, travel and salsa dance, as well as writing poetry.

As a medium of spiritual enlightenment, this small book encourages people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, to move toward a higher awareness of the significance of Change, for a better future.

The Face of God

Pauline, 1968

In this corner of the world when we see the

Face of God in the sun as it shines in the wind as it blows

In each corner of the world we can see the face God

In the waves of the sea, in the clouds of the sky

In each corner of the world we can see the face of God

In colours of the flowers and the green leaves on the trees

When we see a smiling face full of love and grace

We see the face of God

In each corner of the world when we feel the hand of God

We feel the hand of God gently guiding with his love

Through the storm and tempest rough

Let us take the hand of God that guide us through each day

Let us tread the path of God as he leads us on our way

Let us breathe the breath of God morning, noon and night

And listen to his voice in prayer to see the light

In each corner of the World, look around and you will see

In each space in each tree, health and beauty is free

In the silence, in the space, you can see, God’s face.

To My Country

Trevor

I want to be the best that I can be

I want to feel loving vibes between you and me

I want to reach the highest

I want to be the brightest

Each day I strive to achieve my Goal

Looking deep into the marrow of my Soul

Ripples of peace and love unfold

As I continue to play my daily role

I want to be the sweetest I can be

I want to be the greatest I can be

Making the great sacrifice with Godly advice

A sparkling diamond once again revived

I may be on bending knees

Life may be a sting like honey bees

I will be the beacon of prosperity

When we are the pillars of Truth and Honesty

On this 30th Anniversary of Independence

We have toiled yet so dependent

Old time values must be apart onus

Making examples of truth and trust

So awaken my wonderful people

Let’s make this land powerful and stable

Then we will be the best we can be

A beautiful Country for you and me.
