A note from the Author

At the beginning of my journey through life’s complex and diverse university I hadn’t a clue where it would take me or what I would end up doing. All I knew was that I had to reflect on my emotions in some obscure way hence the start of our book: ‘Embracing My Path.’ At the end of writing our book I made a conscious decision to take up the study of psychology—the scientific study of behavior and experience. Then I embarked upon an enchanting discovery based upon an historian of psychology, Sigmund Freud, and his theory of psychoanalysis; the study of one’s self, self analysis based on emotions, which most artists, authors and religious persons constantly argue about to reach some sort of conclusion based upon creation and expression. This is called the surrealist movement (symbolic gestures). My conclusion however is based upon another remarkable person in psychology, Wilhelm Max Wundt, the founder of scientific psychology who pioneered the investigation of consciousness (an ancient methodology). This method, I will try and illustrate to you in our book ‘Embracing My Path’ and hopefully this will lead you to obtain a cognitive way of thinking through the process of acquiring knowledge by use of perception, intuition and reasoning, in order to stimulate the response of conclusion. This process starts with you and your journey with me throughout this book.

I am sharing this with you because I would also love you all to embrace the same fulfillment that I have discovered. Why? Well it’s refreshing, it’s empowering, it gives you a sense of wholeness—that of which becomes one, a phenomenon that is exhilarating, all of which are ingredients that add value to the successes you are going to accomplish on your journey to inner peace

Back Cover of the Book
Life’s complex and diverse university of activities has a way of leading us into possibilities of growth and development, brilliantly disguised as impossible challenges and what may seem like unsolvable situations. ‘Embracing My Path’, is for this reason a vehicle of reflection; it is designed to give us a chance to look over our life’s history from an observational point of perspective. The reader is presented with relative real-life situations and probabilities, in such ways that prompts and nudges the soul into working toward resolving any previously unresolved issues. As a work book, or tool, be rest assured that you will constantly be engaging in step by step instructions and activities. The objective, after working through your challenges of the past and present, is to enter the Divine World, where anything becomes Possible. ‘Embracing My Path’ is therefore challenging; it is confronting, and it truly presents unique and unparalleled paradigms – ways in which embracing your true purpose in life becomes more and more a reality.

Spirituality

It came the day I realised and embraced my pains and anxieties; the day I opened up my mind and accepted life for what it brings. Never forsaking it, or hating it, remembering to always try and forgive it for some of the sorrow it may bring, trying not to forget the rest I bring on myself.

Spirituality – life’s university, our teacher, our challenger, our guide, ones fight, our successes, our ancestors.

Look to it well, this will be part of our future so respect it. It will be hard not to question it, it’s difficult to share it, try and trust in it, sometimes you may not believe in it, you can see it, and so it’s there. Try to feel it and explore it. “Remember… never for greed, out of selfishness, through spite, deceit or with hate.”

Try not to fear it! It’s the start of ones creativity!

How are you going to use it?

Open your heart

To know is to know ourselves

To be good to yourself is to treat yourself well. Treat yourself with respect by getting the best out of yourself. Do no harm to yourself.

Be true to yourself; never lie to yourself, no matter how hard the pain is to bear, try to think it through, discuss it, debate it, analyse it, consider it, and do right by it.

Treat yourself well, be kind to yourself, and put the best in yourself with the means that you have. Look after yourself, let yourself breathe well. Let your eyes see what they should see, it can only bring a smile to you – why turn away? Look at it, face it, go back to it, correct it, it will enable you to open up.

Clothe yourself well with the things that you can afford; be creative with what you have.

Put trust in yourself, find an aim for yourself no matter how small, give praise to yourself, it will help you to grow.

Then open your ears; you will hear. You will start to feel and appreciate that feeling. You will begin to see and understand it. Your heart will begin to flow.

Keep nurturing it!
