Creating your Book

The presentation and design of your publication is extremely important. It is the cover that provides the initial visual impact that attracts potential purchasers. We will discuss your ideas with you and then turn your ideas into a cover design. We can include photographs or illustrations.

Our graphics and design team will work with you and advise you on the ideal size of the Book, how the Book will look and which colour schemes to use. We will determine up to 12 template cover designs and send them to you for your comments and preferences.

All our packages include a Cover design brief. You will get a choice of up to 12 templates to choose from, depending on which Legacy package you purchase. Our technicians will then proceed to implement the design process, incorporating any drawings, pictures or illustrations you wish to include.

Quality

All drawings, pictures or illustrations must be sent to us as a high quality (300dpi resolution) file, and in JPG or PDF formats. We recommend that you supply these on a CD or other USB storage devices. You can do this along with your manuscript, and other internal drawings, pictures and illustrations.

Have your own designer?

No problem; we will send you your ISBN details and EAN Barcode, as well as our company logo, which your designer must place on the back cover of your design. If the spine width of your Book is 8mm or more, you can include the logo at the bottom edge.

We recommend that you employ a professional when it comes to your cover design, because the purpose of the book's cover, ultimately, is to sell the book. The cover is the first thing a potential buyer will come across. So its design, look and layout is vitally important.
