THA was launched September 9th 2006, where this particular event was one of its initiatives - a three year plan to promote and facilitate an Awards Ceremony by 9-9-9 (Sept 9th 2009). This includes Black entrepreneurs and businesses across the UK and Europe who are nominated and invited to participate. This is in reflection of THA’s ‘IAC 999 Charter’; a document which acts as a regulatory mandate for Black owned and Afro-centred businesses, associations, and organisations. THA will present the Awards as a token of its appreciation, within specified categories.
